On October 27, 2025, the Rotary Club of Koronadal organized a walk to raise awareness about polio and to promote vaccination, as part of Rotary International's global effort to eradicate polio.
The 2.5 kilometer walk started at SMRAA and ended at Payag, Purok Kalikasan, Brgy. Paraiso, Koronadal City. It aimed to teach the public why polio vaccination matters and to bring communities together for a polio-free world. Rotarians and Rotaractors took part.
The walk also served as a welcome celebration for PAG John Franco and PE Mary Grace Tamano, who had recently climbed Mount Kinabalu.
