Area 2H Rotary clubs hold a Rotary New Year celebration for 112 students in Tupi
Six Rotary clubs of Area 2H joined at Cebuano Elementary School in Tupi, South Cotabato, to serve 112 students at a Rotary New Year celebration.
On July 1, 2026, the Rotary Clubs of Area 2H united at Cebuano Elementary School - Mambusong II Extension in Tupi, South Cotabato. The clubs were Central Polomolok, Koronadal, Koronadal Central, Marbel, Metro Koronadal and Tupi. Together they served 112 students under the theme "Our children today, our hope for tomorrow."
The joint project followed weeks of planning and gift preparation. For the environment, the clubs planted bamboo and trees and turned over Gulayan seeds. For health and welfare, they gave out hygiene kits and slippers, and offered dental check-ups, medical exams and free haircuts.
Children also took part in interactive storytelling sessions, a hygiene lecture and a magic show.
The club described the kickoff as a reflection of the Rotary spirit of "Service Above Self" and a foundation of community care and partnership for Rotary Year 2026-2027.
