OB-GYN Surgical Mission opens with 16 free surgeries at South Cotabato Provincial Hospital
On Day 1 of the OB-GYN Surgical Mission at South Cotabato Provincial Hospital, 16 patients received free gynecologic surgeries.
The Rotary Club of Koronadal and its partners opened Day 1 of the OB-GYN Surgical Mission at the South Cotabato Provincial Hospital (SCPH). The mission was built on a shared commitment to maternal and women's health, and brought surgical care to women who need it.
Sixteen patients received free gynecologic surgeries on the first day.
The mission was led through the vision of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., to make healthcare accessible to all South Cotabateños. Surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and hospital staff volunteered their time and expertise.
The co-partners were the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (POGS) South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat Chapter, and the South Cotabato Medical Society. The club thanked them and the volunteer medical teams for the mission.
